This bike takes our Carbon model to the next step of evolution. Like the Carbon, the Carbon Super-Light bicycle is entirely custom fabricated. We tailor the complete bike to the rider’s specific measurements. Our Carbon SL tube set is superior in weight, stiffness, and compliance. Each aluminum lug is built to the rider’s custom specifications. The SL also comes standard with an integrated seat tube, giving it a touch more responsiveness for those all-out sprint intervals. It takes a little longer to build an SL, but perfection takes time.

The Aerotube Design

The Carbon SL bicycle boasts a comfortable ride for long hours spent in the saddle while still having that crit-like feel in the sprints. It is an extension of the rider. Predator’s design creates high linear compliance, and absorbs road vibration making the ride more comfortable and smooth. Again, by focusing on torsional strength, we are able to keep the Carbon SL smooth yet responsive.

The Importance of Custom

The Carbon SL is our most customizable road bicycle. In addition to Predator’s normal measuring of body size, positioning, and wattage output, the bike geometry and tubing are made specifically for each rider. The number of times tubes are wrapped and the type of carbon used is based on pre-testing done here in our workshop. Once the frame is built with the chosen paint colors and decals, the fun part comes in choosing components and accessories to finish the ride. The result is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind,two-wheeled, fire-breathing Predator!
