Team Predator Carbon Repair had a very successful week throughout the Tour of America’s Dairyland in Wisconsin late last month. A Pro-Continental squad took control of the race early on, but Team Predator quickly turned on the heat midweek, challenged the field, and triumphantly won repeated podium placements. The team stayed strong throughout the tour and continually placed first or second during the last six stages of the 11-stage tour. Team Predator Carbon Repair secured a one-two finish on the grand finale stage in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Our riders Sergio, Cody, and Gevan kept producing results despite team sickness and intermittent rest days. Regardless of our setbacks with three ill riders, our boys persevered and fought hard to win stages. As true Predator’s, our team was hungry for the podium.
Teammate Ricky Escuela took the tour’s overall Pro Men’s title, winning three stages and taking one 2nd place stage finishes. He held his ground and rode hard, defeating competitor Alexander Ray of New Zealand. Predator’s Dion Smith also placed on the podium with a two win one at the Elkhart Lake Road Race at Road America, one 2nd place stage finishes, and an overall 7th placing in the Grand Contender category. Teammate Emile Abraham rounded out our Dairyland team as the last man in the lead-out train for Ricky and managed two 4th place finishes among several other top-10 finishes putting him in 6th place overall. Team Predator dominated the Tour of Dairyland, having three teammates successfully place top ten overall and obtaining the yellow cow-spotted jersey win!!
